MOHRAV® A2 GIR COW GHEE GOLD is a premium ghee made from nutrient-dense, easily digestible A2 milk sourced from grass-fed Gir cows at authentic Vedic dairy farms in South India, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Authentic Vedic dairy farming, where Gir cows are grass-fed or free pasture grazed, produces omega-3 rich milk.
The ghee is hand-crafted using the 100% traditional Ayurvedic Bilona method of hand-churning curd in the unglazed earthen pot during the auspicious Brahma Mahurat, believed to preserve nutrients and maximize potency, earning it the gold standard in Ayurvedic practices.
Every batch begins with fresh Gir cow milk, carefully turned into curd using a natural starter culture, and left to set overnight in an unglazed earthen pot. The curd is then carefully churned using the ancient wooden Bilona to separate fermented butter (Makkhan) and slow-cooked over firewood in an unglazed earthen pot.
The porous nature of the earthen pot helps absorb impurities, allows for better heat distribution to help preserve its nutrients, and, according to Ayurvedic principles, imparts positive, energetic properties to the ghee.
Renowned for its granular texture (danedar), golden glow, Sattvic nature, nutty aroma, and taste, the ghee is packed in airtight glass jars to retain freshness and prevent wastage.
There are no additives, preservatives, chemicals, or artificial ingredients. It’s 100% natural and organically prepared to bring the taste and benefits of “Gaon ka Pakka Ghee,” rich in omega-3, ensuring a healthy Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio and rich in butyric acid, CLA, and vitamins A, E, and K, to your modern kitchen.
The ghee is made by slowly heating churned butter at low temperatures to help preserve its nutrients.
Gir cow milk has an additional singular edge: It does not contain BCM-7, a peptide – or a form of protein - which studies suggest are linked to gut inflammation; influence neurological functions; trigger autoimmune conditions in sensitive individuals & even contribute to Type 1 Diabetes and cardiovascular issues.
The Gir cow’s serene nature, combined with ethical care and nutrient-rich milk, contributes to overall well-being, both physical and mental.
Packed in food-grade glass jars, the ghee is sealed and protected from oxidation, keeping it fresh forever until the seal is opened.
