The wild honey extracted from the hives of small or ‘dwarf’ bees is limited in quantity but rich in flavour, taste and nutritional value. Our prized Small Bee Honey presents a layered experience, reflecting the biodiversity of the region. Golden brown, silky smooth and delicious, it offers an interesting medley of sweet and tangy overtones with a subtle hint of bitterness.

In Ayurvedic tradition, Small Bee Honey is known as makshika madhu, and is considered to be sattvic and highly potent. This ‘nectar of the forest gods’ is much prized because of the limited quantity (typically foraged once a year) and potent healing qualities.
